Nancy Petriccione comes to us with a myriad of skills, especially her favorite: people skills. Her degree from University of New Haven (Hospitality Management) has served her well. She fell in love with the joy of servicing clients as a teenager when she started as a Coat Check girl in a restaurant just outside of NYC. Years later after getting her degree, she partnered with Viacom Corporate in Times Square, NY. She advanced to the position of Catering Director for MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central. She then took these skills to Atlanta, GA to work with Aramark, feeding the athletes and media for the 1996 Olympics. She was so in love with the south that she decided to stay beyond the Summer Games. Aramark kept her on as a Food Service Director for Turner Broadcasting Systems and she eventually took a leap of faith to Banking. She employed her hospitality skills as a Branch Manager, and ultimately as a Mortgage Banker. She quickly realized that her strong skillset of uncovering and understanding client’s needs were transferable. Real Estate is been in her blood but she wasn’t ready to dive in.
After starting her family that she realized this was for her. Nancy’s mom (also Nancy) made an incredible living as a Realtor in NY. Even her grandfather pursued the American Dream using Real Estate as his primary vehicle. He was motorman (railroad) by day, and property manager in his spare time.
Almost immediately after arriving here from Ireland as a teenager, he was buying and selling property. This started a love of Real Estate in the entire family.
Nancy lives in East Cobb with her husband and 2 children. They love living in Cobb and say the schools and community are hard to beat. Nancy served on the Indian Hills Civic Association for one term as a Vice President.
Additionally, she served for 2 years as the PTA President at Eastside Elementary. Nancy’s experiences and expertise of understanding client’s needs has translated well into volunteer capacities as well. As a stay at home home, she worked part time for a utility company where she was also able to keep her client relations skills sharp. Now she is ready for Nancy 2.0
Don’t be surprised if you get a call or visit from her. She loves to be out and about in the community and she would love to see how we can serve you and care for you better!
